How do you select your therapists?
Before joining our team, every therapist is carefully vetted to ensure they meet the Kip Standard. We accept only 5% of those who apply.
Every therapists is screened by our team via an application, phone call, and a one-hour intensive in-person interview with our Chief Clinical Officer and founding team. The best therapists are not just trained and certified, but curious, creative, and empathetic. They make you feel comfortable. They’re astute observers who quickly connects the dots between your life, goals, and values. These are the characteristics we look for when interviewing therapists to join our team.
We only work with providers who use evidence-based practices (EBP)–treatments that are based on scientific evidence and backed by clinical trials. These therapists include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness.
